The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Mathematics across the relevant secondary age groups including A Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated Maths lessons.
- Inspire students to develop a strong understanding and enjoyment of Mathematics.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate support and challenge.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations where required.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative initiatives.
- Work positively with colleagues, students and parents to support high standards of achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent).
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics.
- Experience teaching an international or British curriculum is desirable.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
- International school experience is advantageous but not essential.
