Overview of the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and academically rigorous English lessons at A Level, fostering a stimulating learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and independent thinking.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality A Level English Language and/or Literature lessons
• Preparing students for external examinations and assessments
• Developing students' analytical, writing, and research skills
• Monitoring and supporting student progress
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Participating in extracurricular activities and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or a related field with PGCE and QTS
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• A Levels teaching experience is a MUST
• Strong experience teaching within an international school setting
• Excellent subject knowledge and examination preparation experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
