An established international school in Singapore is seeking a skilled Behavioural Therapist to join its multidisciplinary student support team from August 2026. This is a highly impactful role focused on enabling students to achieve their social, emotional, behavioural, and academic potential.

 

Overview

You will work closely with teachers, parents, therapists and school leaders to design and implement evidence-based behavioural interventions that support students with complex needs. The role focuses on helping learners build independence, emotional regulation, positive behaviour patterns, and meaningful engagement in school life. You will also contribute to a whole-school approach to wellbeing and inclusion, ensuring that students are supported holistically across academic and pastoral settings.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in behavioural therapy, counselling or a related specialist role
  • Experience in international school, educational or clinical settings
  • Knowledge of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and Functional Behavioural Assessment (FBA)
  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity and inclusive education practices
  • BCBA or BCaBA certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, ethics and student wellbeing
