The ideal candidate

• Degree in Biology or related field

• Strong subject knowledge: Deep understanding of biology across key stages, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology
• Teaching certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven classroom teaching experience
• Engaging pedagogy: Ability to deliver lessons that inspire curiosity, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking
• Assessment expertise: Skilled in designing and implementing effective assessments to monitor and support student progress
• Laboratory management: Competence in organizing practical experiments safely and effectively
• Student-centered approach: Passionate about supporting diverse learning needs and encouraging independent research
• Collaborative teamwork: Works effectively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
