The successful candidate will deliver the Cambridge ESL Programme at secondary level in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English as a Second Language instruction in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, curriculum materials, and learning resources
- Adapt teaching approaches to support diverse student needs and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Maintain positive classroom expectations and monitor student development
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress
- Provide additional academic support where required
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
- Contribute to extracurricular programmes, clubs, and academic activities
- Carry out additional professional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
- Recognised teaching qualification/licence/certification
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience following qualification
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is advantageous
- Fluent English speaker with a minimum C1 level proficiency
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and teamwork abilities
