The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach A Level Chemistry and A Level Biology to motivated and engaged students.
• Deliver Key Stage 4 Co-ordinated Science following the Cambridge International (CIE) curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a passion for science.
• Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring high levels of achievement.
• Prepare students for external examinations and support them in reaching their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent).
• A degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience teaching Chemistry and/or Biology at A Level.
• Experience teaching the Cambridge International (CIE) curriculum is desirable.
• A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• International school experience is advantageous but not essential.
