A prestigious American international school in Kuwait is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to lead and elevate their instructional programs starting in September 2025.
As Curriculum Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic vision of the school. You’ll collaborate with teachers, department heads, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive, innovative, and standards-aligned curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse, international student body.

This international school in Kuwait is a private KG - Grade 12 school providing an American curriculum with a STEM focus. With the average class size being 20-23 students, 98% of the student body are Kuwaiti citizens. Course offerings include a variety of interdisciplinary courses and a college preparatory program. With a vision to educate lifelong learners with ethical values who will develop into leaders contributing to the global community as responsible, critical thinkers and problem solvers. The schools’ purpose is to prepare students to become accountable, independent, and successful global citizens prepared for the challenges of international universities. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the K–12 American curriculum
- Support teachers in instructional planning, differentiation, and assessment strategies
- Align curriculum with international standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS)
- Facilitate professional development and instructional coaching
- Analyze academic data to inform curriculum improvements
- Collaborate with leadership on school-wide academic initiatives and accreditation processes
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or curriculum role
- Strong knowledge of American curriculum frameworks and international education
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait and thrive in a multicultural school environment
