The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline, alongside a PGCE or BEd in Secondary Education
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology at Secondary level
  • Familiarity with the British or international curriculum, including IGCSE and/or A Level
  • Ability to confidently deliver safe and effective practical workshop sessions
  • Experience in areas such as product design, resistant materials, or graphics is an advantage
  • Previous experience in a developing or expanding school environment is desirable
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in communication, literacy, and numeracy
  • Proactive, flexible, and willing to contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives
