Overview
The successful candidate will teach Design Technology across Year 7 to Year 10 within an expanding curriculum based on IMYC and IGCSE frameworks. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity and collaboration while supporting students of varying abilities and backgrounds. Teachers are expected to foster a safe and stimulating learning environment, monitor student progress effectively, contribute to pastoral responsibilities and actively participate in extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.

Ideal Candidate
- Hold a degree in Design Technology or a related field
- Possess a PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Demonstrate a passion for creative and project-based learning
- Have excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible, innovative and collaborative in their approach
- Be committed to student wellbeing and academic success
- Experience with IMYC and IGCSE programmes is desirable but not essential
