Overview

The Drama Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and learning within the Secondary Drama curriculum at an inclusive international school in Singapore. You will design and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that develop students’ confidence, communication, creativity and performance skills. The role includes teaching a range of Drama disciplines such as improvisation, script work, devising theatre, movement, voice, and stagecraft, while also supporting students’ understanding of theatre history and performance styles.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts, Education or related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
  • Strong understanding of performance-based learning and drama pedagogy
  • Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience preferred
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent learners and diverse learning needs
  • Confident using differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies (UDL knowledge desirable)
