The ideal candidate
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching Certification
- A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is essential (or equivalent ESL/EAL teaching qualification).
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school or with English as an Additional Language (EAL) students.
- Experience with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or IPC is an advantage.
