The ideal candidate

• Holds recognized teaching credentials (QTS or TRCN).
• Degree in English or a closely related field such as linguistics or literature.
• Additional certification in TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent EAL qualification is an advantage.
• Ideally brings 2–3 years of experience teaching English as an Additional Language in a British school context.
• Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and established EAL frameworks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience teaching across a range of age groups.
• Demonstrates adaptability when working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Confident in using language learning technology and digital tools to support progress.
• Background in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or relevant training is desirable.
