Position title
EAL Teacher – International School in Pattaya, Thailand – Immediate Start
Description

Help multilingual learners find their voice and reach their full potential!

An international school in Pattaya, Thailand, is seeking a dedicated English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to support students developing their English proficiency.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys. You'll help learners build the language skills, confidence and independence they need to participate in lessons, connect with their peers and access the wider curriculum.

If you're passionate about inclusive education and enjoy finding creative ways to help students progress, this could be your next international teaching opportunity.

Overview

The successful candidate will provide targeted English language support to students whose first language is not English or who require additional assistance with English-medium learning.

You will assess students' language needs, plan appropriate learning activities and support the development of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Working collaboratively with classroom and subject teachers, you will help students access curriculum content while developing their academic vocabulary and communication skills. You will also monitor progress and adapt your teaching to meet individual learning needs.

About the School

The school offers an internationally focused education to students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. English is used as the language of instruction, and the academic programme includes internationally recognised secondary pathways.

Effective language support is essential in helping multilingual learners participate confidently in lessons and demonstrate their knowledge across different subjects. EAL provision therefore plays an important role in creating an inclusive learning environment where students can develop their English without losing sight of their wider academic goals.
