The ideal candidate
- Qualifications — Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Teaching experience — proven experience working with young learners in nursery, reception, or KS1 settings.
- Pedagogical expertise — strong knowledge of play‑based and child‑centred approaches to early years education.
- Classroom environment — ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Communication skills — excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity and adaptability — demonstrates creativity, patience, and flexibility in tailoring lessons to diverse learning needs.

Facts & Figures
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Job type: Contract
Duration: 1 year (renewable)
Salary: Up to EUR2500 a month
Benefits: Relocation allowance, free access to the school gym, a discounted Multisport card, discounted school meals, 3 paid sick days per school year (without a doctor note), 40 days of vacation per calendar year (the amount of leave entitlement is adjusted according to the Labor Code), possible to obtain up to 20 Extra Day Off, fair and transparent framework for rewarding staff through performance-based bonuses.
