The ideal candidate:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching English First Language - experience with IPC, Cambridge (UK based) and IGCSE curriculum is preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in teaching PE at the primary or secondary level
- A teaching licence or certification from a recognised authority (e.g., QTS in the UK, Teaching License in the US, TRB in Australia).
- A strong understanding of the IGCSE English curriculum.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience is required.
- Proven experience as an English teacher.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for holistic education and student wellbeing
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English First Language to secondary-level students, aligned with the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum
- Deliver fun, inclusive, and effective PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school sports and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
