Overview

As an English Language Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical-thinking skills.

You'll create a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express their ideas, explore different perspectives, and develop confidence in their use of English. Differentiating instruction to meet a range of abilities and learning needs will be an important part of the role.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE (or equivalent).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Teaching Licence, or Teacher Registration.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE English First Language.
• Experience teaching A Level English is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a British curriculum and/or international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of effective assessment practices and examination preparation.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for developing students' literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Commitment to collaborative practice and continuous professional development.
• Experience working in multicultural educational environments is highly desirable.
