The ideal candidate

  • Recognised teaching qualification — Holds Qualified Teacher Status through PGCE, B.Ed, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Relevant experience — Proven experience teaching English Language & Literature at IGCSE, AS, and A Level.
  • Curriculum knowledge — Strong understanding of the British curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Subject expertise — Deep knowledge of English Language & Literature, with the confidence to inspire learners across secondary levels.
  • Lesson delivery — Skilled in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and motivate students.
  • Communication skills — Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
