Overview

Teach English to Secondary/High School students within a structured and supportive learning environment. You'll be responsible for planning engaging lessons, developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and adapting your teaching to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.

You'll have the opportunity to use creative and varied teaching approaches to encourage participation, critical thinking, and genuine engagement with the English language and literature.

Beyond the classroom, teachers are encouraged to become active members of the wider school community and contribute to co-curricular activities.

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Bachelor's Degree with PGCE/QTS
• English or English Literature specialisation preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience teaching English at Secondary/High School level
• Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature
• Experience working with mixed-ability learners
• Experience in an international, bilingual, or diverse classroom environment is highly desirable
• Confident classroom management and communication skills
• Creative, adaptable, and student-focused approach to teaching
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and co-curricular activities
