Overview

As an Early Years English Language Teacher, you'll create a classroom where children feel safe, valued and ready to explore. You'll plan engaging, age-appropriate experiences that support children's communication, social, emotional and cognitive development while encouraging independence and a genuine love of learning. You'll also work closely with colleagues and families, observe individual progress and adapt your approach to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or English Language and Literature
• PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English Language and Literature
• Experience teaching Early Years, Kindergarten, Reception, Foundation Stage or similar
• Experience working with children aged 2–6
• Strong understanding of early childhood development
• Experience delivering play-based and hands-on learning
• Warm, nurturing and enthusiastic teaching style
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• International school experience is highly desirable
