Whether you're helping toddlers discover the world around them, encouraging nursery children to develop their communication skills or preparing kindergarten pupils for the next stage of their education, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during these formative years.
Overview
Three Early Years Teachers are required to support children's learning and development across the following age groups:
- Pre-Nursery Teacher: Ages 2–3
- Nursery Teacher: Ages 3–4
- Kindergarten Teacher: Ages 4–5
Successful candidates will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences informed by the UK EYFS framework.
You will create a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can explore, experiment, communicate and develop confidence through play-based learning. Teachers will observe children's development, assess progress, adapt activities to individual needs and work collaboratively with colleagues and families to ensure that every child receives appropriate support.
The successful candidates will understand the importance of balancing purposeful learning with opportunities for children to develop independence, social skills and a positive relationship with education.
About the School
The school provides an international learning environment informed by the UK EYFS curriculum, with an emphasis on play-based learning and the holistic development of young children.
Its Early Years approach recognises that children learn through meaningful experiences, exploration and positive relationships. Carefully planned activities encourage children to develop language, early mathematical understanding, physical coordination, creativity and social confidence while progressing towards important developmental milestones.
Teachers are encouraged to recognise each child's individual interests, abilities and needs, creating a supportive environment in which children feel safe to explore, make discoveries and develop independence.
For experienced EYFS practitioners, these positions offer the opportunity to contribute to children's earliest educational experiences within an international setting. Each teacher will play an important role in establishing positive learning habits and helping children develop the confidence and foundational skills needed for future schooling.
