Overview

As a Geography Teacher, you will teach students from Year 7 through to Year 13, delivering engaging and inquiry‑based lessons that build strong geographical understanding and critical thinking. You will be responsible for planning, assessing, and differentiating lessons, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere and supporting student wellbeing and achievement.

The school is a premier independent, co‑educational day school providing an English‑medium education to learners aged 18 months to 18 years. Job Highlights

  • Teach Geography to students across secondary age groups, including IGCSE, A Level, and IB Diploma Programme levels.
  • Deliver stimulating, inquiry‑led lessons that encourage exploration and deep learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and planning.
  • Act as a class tutor, promoting student progress and wellbeing.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area or B.Ed.
  • Post Graduate Certificate of Education or a certificate of equivalence.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching Geography and History in the secondary section.
  • Experience in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Experience in IGCSE, A Level and IBDP Programmes
  • Previous experience in an international school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to assess student learning effectively.
  • Passionate, creative, growth-oriented, and deeply committed to student welfare.
