The ideal candidate
- Holds a strong honours degree in specialism subject
- Possesses a PGCE or equivalent qualification for teaching secondary Art
- Has prior leadership experience as Head of Department
- Recently taught Pearson Edexcel GCSE Art & Design: Fine Art and GCE Fine Art
- Works well in a team and collaborates effectively on planning and resources
- Adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
- Maintains high expectations for student effort and behaviour, supported by proven classroom management skills
