The ideal candidate

• Holds a strong honours degree in specialism subject
• Possesses a PGCE or equivalent qualification for teaching secondary Art
• Has prior leadership experience as Head of Department
• Recently taught Pearson Edexcel GCSE Art & Design: Fine Art and GCE Fine Art
• Works well in a team and collaborates effectively on planning and resources
• Adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
• Maintains high expectations for student effort and behaviour, supported by proven classroom management skills
