The ideal candidate:

• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Substantial teaching experience in Early Years or Foundation Stage education.
• Proven leadership experience as a Head of Early Years, Section Head, or Coordinator.
• Strong understanding of EYFS or Cambridge Early Years frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in curriculum leadership, staff mentoring, and improving student outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working within international schools and multicultural environments.
• Commitment to innovation in early education, including inquiry-based and digital learning approaches

Core Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal with strategic and operational leadership across the Cambridge Early Years Campus.
• Mentor and support staff, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
• Oversee student data tracking, behaviour management, and wellbeing systems in line with the school’s values.
• Develop and embed curriculum practice in alignment with Cambridge Early Years expectations and local needs.
• Engage with parents, managing both day-to-day communication and more complex issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Lead assemblies, staff briefings, and contribute to whole-school initiatives and community events.
