Help lead this international school in the policies and practices of continuous school improvement and staff development within in their English Department. An amazing opportunity to play a major role in the development of high-quality teaching and learning, including the monitoring of curriculum planning, giving feedback and advice and assisting and supporting colleagues with the planning and delivery of an enriching, differentiated curriculum. Working with the Senior Leadership team, you will lead, motivate, support, challenge and develop staff to secure the highest standards and expectations, including professional development training for staff linked to planning, teaching and assessment.

The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (Master’s Degree will be an advantage)
- A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an International School
- Proven experience as a Head Teacher or in a leadership role within an English Department.
- Strong knowledge of English educational practices and curriculum.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.
- Strong team player, exemplary role model, positive and strives for excellence
- Proven track record of having led a curriculum
- Excellent communication skills, good time management, approachable and flexible
- Experience with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or IPC is an advantage.
