The ideal candidate

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent. Those without an education degree must have a Teaching License or PGCE. (Master’s Degree may be preferred)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) those with a non-education degree.
  • Previous experience as a Head Teacher or in a senior educational leadership role.
  • A strong background in English education, understanding of the IGCSE English curriculum.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and enhance teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A teaching licence or certification from a recognised authority (e.g., QTS in the UK, Teaching License in the US, TRB in Australia).
  • Proven experience as an English teacher.
  • At least 1–3 years of teaching experience is required.
  • Experience with IPC, Cambridge (UK based) and IGCSE curriculum is preferred.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment methods.
  • Ability to incorporate technology and 21st-century learning strategies.
