The ideal candidate

• Teaching experience — Prior experience teaching high school English, ideally including AP Language and Composition.
• PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Teaching License
• Curriculum knowledge — Strong understanding of Grade 10, Grade 11, and AP Language and Composition standards.
• Instructional skills — Ability to design engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills.
• Adaptability — Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and adjusting to diverse student needs.
• Collaboration — Strong team player who contributes positively to the school community.
• Passion for education — Enthusiasm for inspiring students and supporting their academic growth.
