The ideal candidate

• Degree in Food & Nutrition: Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Home Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Teaching certification: Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Inspirational teacher: A highly motivated and engaging educator of Food & Nutrition, able to inspire students at IGCSE and KS3 (Cambridge International).
• Subject expertise: Strong knowledge of Food & Nutrition, with the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching that supports student learning and maximizes individual potential.
• Flexibility: Ideally able to offer a second subject, though flexibility exists for the right candidate.
• Student outcomes: Enthusiastic, conscientious, and energetic, with a proven track record of securing excellent results for pupils.
• Curriculum familiarity: Familiarity with the British National Curriculum (Key Stages 3 and 4) and Cambridge Curriculum is highly desirable.
• Collaborative leadership: Capable of working closely with colleagues, contributing to curriculum development, and inspiring others.
• Reflective practice: Curious, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Relationship building: Builds warm, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
