We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3 Homeroom Teacher (Science) to inspire students through engaging, enquiry-based Science lessons while providing outstanding pastoral care as a homeroom teacher from September 2026.
Overview
As a KS3 Homeroom Teacher (Science), you will play a vital role in both the academic and personal development of your students. You will deliver engaging, enquiry-based Science lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom where every student feels supported to reach their full potential. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will serve as a Homeroom Teacher, providing pastoral care and supporting students' social, emotional, and academic wellbeing.
You will plan and deliver high-quality KS3 Science lessons in line with the school's curriculum, assess and monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback to support continued achievement. Using differentiated teaching strategies, you will ensure all learners are challenged and supported according to their individual needs. You will build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, extracurricular activities, and wider school initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and student wellbeing in a collaborative and inspiring learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Homeroom within the British Curriculum
- Experience teaching KS3 Science within the British Curriculum
- Previous international school experience is desirable
- Experience in a pastoral or homeroom role is advantageous
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for enquiry-based, student-centred learning
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
