Overview

As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of Humanities subjects, helping students develop critical thinking skills, global awareness and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Working closely with academic leaders and colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment practices and student support strategies while fostering an inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Humanities, Education, or a related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' teaching experience
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent students, including learners with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences
  • Strong knowledge of History, Geography, Social Studies, or related Humanities subjects
  • A commitment to differentiated learning and student wellbeing
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Professional integrity and commitment to the values of the school.
  • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive practices to support diverse learners.
