The ideal candidate:

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience at IGCSE or equivalent international level.
• A clear understanding of the Cambridge English curriculum and experience preparing students for IGCSE examinations.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• A creative approach to teaching that encourages reading, writing, and discussion.
• A collaborative, flexible attitude and commitment to professional growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE framework.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates all learners.
• Assess student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and prepare students for external examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and extra-curricular activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
