Description

We are seeking a dedicated and well‑qualified Italian Language & Literature Teacher to join an international team, with confidence in teaching both IB Diploma and IGCSE students.  Experience with the IB curriculum is highly valued, as is prior teaching experience with IGCSE programmes. For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to take on a leadership role within the department.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Recognized teaching certification (e.g., UK PGCE, Bachelor of Education, QTS) accepted in Canada, the UK, or the USA
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a comparable school environment, with recent and relevant practice
  • Knowledge of IB and IGCSE programmes and their requirements
  • Experience with EAL students (English as an Additional Language)
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to support collaboration and efficiency
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and professionalism
  • Commitment to professional growth, actively engaging in personal development and contributing to colleagues’ growth
