The Role

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for kindergarten children, supporting their social, emotional and academic development.  The role will involve creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence, exploration and creativity. Familiarity with Montessori principles and the ability to incorporate music and creative activities into the classroom would be an advantage.

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification

• Possess a recognised teaching qualification, such as a B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent

• Have previous experience teaching Kindergarten or Early Years

• Have experience working in an international school (preferred)

• Have previous Montessori school experience or a good understanding of Montessori principles

• Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Be creative, enthusiastic and committed to child-centred learning

• Have an interest or ability in incorporating music into classroom activities (desirable)
