The Ideal Candidate
- A recognised teaching qualification in Secondary English, such as a BEd in English or a relevant degree with a PGCE and QTS.
- Strong experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Proven experience teaching First Language English.
- Experience teaching iGCSE English Language and Literature is essential, particularly at examination level.
- Confident delivering the British curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in both English Language and English Literature.
- Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for helping students develop their reading, writing, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Available to take up a full-time position from January 2027.
