A growing educational community in Koh Phangan, Thailand, is seeking an enthusiastic KS3 Homeroom & Science Teacher to join from September 2026.

Role Overview

As a KS3 Homeroom & Science Teacher, you will have a varied and rewarding role combining high-quality Science teaching with responsibility for a group of students as their Homeroom Teacher.

You will deliver engaging, practical and enquiry-based Science lessons while creating a positive classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.

As a Homeroom Teacher, you will also provide pastoral guidance and support students' academic, social and personal development. Building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues will be an important part of the role.

You will monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, use differentiated teaching strategies and contribute to wider school activities and initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS3 Science within the British Curriculum.
  • Previous international teaching experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Homeroom or pastoral role is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for enquiry-based and student-centred learning.
  • A caring and approachable manner with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing.
  • Strong organisational and relationship-building skills.
