The ideal candidate

Education and Certification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Teaching License, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching lower primary-level English in an international or multicultural school setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Primary English Teacher or similar role.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of early literacy development, language acquisition, and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  •  Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  •  Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment methods
