An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Maths & Physics Teacher to join an established international school for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate secondary educator who can inspire students across a range of abilities, contribute to strong academic outcomes, and play an active role in the wider school community.

Overview

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop students' subject knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment and departmental improvement while working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, Physics or a closely related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at secondary level
  • Experience teaching towards external examinations
  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge
  • The ability to differentiate effectively for students of varying abilities
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to high standards of student achievement
  • Experience using assessment data to monitor and improve student progress
  • A collaborative approach to working within a department
  • A willingness to contribute to extracurricular and wider school activities
  • International school experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with British/international curricula would be advantageous
  • Experience teaching an additional subject or vocational area would be an advantage, but is not essential.
