In this role, you will:

• Deliver high‑quality Social Studies lessons aligned with the American curriculum and UAE Ministry requirements
• Foster critical thinking, debate, and cultural appreciation in a diverse, multicultural classroom
• Support students in connecting past and present events to real‑world contexts
• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s academic and extracurricular programs

The ideal candidate

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography or Political Science with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Has experience teaching the American curriculum (or similar international frameworks); familiarity with UAE Ministry subjects is an advantage
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners
• Is passionate about fostering global awareness, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation in secondary students
• Brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and commitment to contributing positively to a collaborative, multicultural school environment
