The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experienced in teaching Middle School Science, ideally within an international curriculum.
  • Possesses a relevant teaching qualification and demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and fostering scientific curiosity in students.
  • Skilled in lesson planning, assessment, and differentiation to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to student development and innovation.
  • Familiar with international curricula and adaptable to a multicultural learning environment.
  • Enthusiastic about living and working in Myanmar, embracing new experiences and cultural diversity.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Middle School Science lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and hands-on experiments to promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
  • Use technology and lab equipment effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
