The school 

An established international school, authorized to deliver both the Primary and Middle Years Programmes of the International Baccalaureate, serves a diverse student body of more than 200 pupils representing over 50 nationalities. The teaching staff is a highly experienced and stable group, drawn from more than 25 different countries, reflecting the school’s global outlook.  The school continues to grow and is committed to embedding the IB philosophy at every level. Teachers play a central role in implementing the curriculum to ensure maximum benefit for students and act as role models of the IB Learner Profile.  A new Middle Years Programme Coordinator is now being sought—an individual with a genuine passion for student development and learning. This permanent, full‑time position forms part of the Education Leadership Team, with the majority of responsibilities focused on leadership and curriculum coordination.

The ideal candidate

  • Holds relevant academic qualifications in education
  • Provides guidance, training, and support to staff in implementing IB principles and practices, including the induction of new teachers
  • Capable of preparing schedules, leading staff meetings, and contributing actively to the Education Leadership Team while coordinating programmes for students, parents, and staff
  • Ensures continuous development, review, and alignment of written, taught, and assessed curricula with IB standards
  • Oversees programme resources and makes informed recommendations for purchases
  • Embodies the attributes of the IB Learner Profile and serves as a role model for the school community
  • Approaches challenges with flexibility, initiative, and forward‑thinking solutions
  • Possesses advanced IT skills to support teaching, learning, and administration
