The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a Related Field: A degree in education, mathematics, or a closely related subject is essential.

• Teaching Certification: A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, is required.

• Experience in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP): Prior experience teaching within the MYP framework is highly preferred. Training in the IB curriculum is an advantage.
• Teaching Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
• Fluency in English: Strong written and spoken English skills, as English is typically the medium of instruction.
• Cultural Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a diverse environment and adapt to the cultural context of living and working in China.
