Are you passionate about shaping curious, global-minded students? We are seeking an experienced Middle School Humanities teacher with a strong English focus for the 2026/27 school year in Thailand!
Overview:
The Middle School Humanities teacher will deliver an engaging, English-focused Humanities program to students in grades 6–8. This role emphasizes developing students’ critical thinking, research, and communication skills through a blend of literature, writing, and social studies concepts. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to plan and implement an inquiry-based, student-centered curriculum aligned with the IB philosophy, fostering curiosity and a love of learning.
The school:
This international school in Nonthaburi, just outside Bangkok, and serves students from Pre-K2 to Grade 12. It follows an American-style, inquiry-based curriculum with AP courses and future plans for the IB Diploma, while also placing strong emphasis on sustainability and the UN SDGs. Teachers are expected to be collaborative, tech-savvy, and adaptable, and benefits include settling-in and signing allowances, health insurance, annual flights, and professional development support. Staff report small class sizes, respectful students, a manageable workload, and supportive leadership, though salaries are above average rather than top-tier for Bangkok. As a newer campus, there are still some growing pains, and the suburban location makes commuting or living nearby an important consideration.
