MYP Science Teacher – International School in Mandalay, Myanmar – Start August 2026

We are looking for a passionate MYP Science Teacher to deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons within a growing IB framework.

Overview

This role emphasises inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts through critical thinking, experimentation, and real-world application. You will teach across disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) while contributing to the development of the MYP programme.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Science (Master’s preferred)

• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

• IB MYP experience is strongly preferred (or IPC/IB-aligned experience essential)

• Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centred learning

• Ability to teach across multiple science disciplines

• Flexible, collaborative, and adaptable mindset
