A well-established international school in Japan is seeking a dedicated and passionate IB MYP Sciences and DP Chemistry Teacher to join its team from August 2026.
Overview
The successful candidate will teach IB MYP Sciences (Grades 6–10) and IB DP Chemistry (Grades 11–12), working with students of varied abilities and supporting them in achieving strong academic outcomes. The role also includes participation in a homeroom team and active involvement in the wider school community.

Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or a related field (strong Chemistry background required)
- Recognised teaching qualification / licence from home country
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Sciences at high school level
- Experience with IB MYP and/or DP strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IB curriculum frameworks
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience with inquiry-based teaching approaches
- Confidence using educational technology (e.g. Google Workspace, ManageBac, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
