Qualifications and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Linguistics, TESOL, English, Education, or a related field.
  • IB teaching experience in MYP and/or DP English B preferred.
  • Expertise in language acquisition theories, ELL strategies, and differentiation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and language development frameworks.
  • Experience in technology integration for language learning and use of digital tools to support ELLs

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong instructional skills in English as an Additional Language (EAL) strategy.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate varying language proficiency levels.
  • Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
