Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join the team at a vibrant American International school community in Kuwait for the 2025–2026 academic year. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

As a PE teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and inclusive physical education curriculum aligned with the American educational standards, fostering students’ physical development, sportsmanship, and lifelong wellness habits. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-child development and contribute to a positive, engaging school environment.

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physical Education or a related field
• 2+ years’ recent experience teaching PE to Middle School ages 
• Experience in an International or American curriculum school setting is preferred
• Passionate about promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students of all ages and abilities
• Comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural environment and committed to inclusive teaching practices
• Confident using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning and assessment
• Brings creativity and enthusiasm to lessons, extracurricular activities, and school events
