Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons to Primary 4–6 students, creating an environment where curiosity and exploration are at the heart of learning.

Students are encouraged to go beyond memorising facts by asking questions, investigating scientific concepts, solving problems and making connections between classroom learning and real-life experiences.

The ideal teacher will bring creativity, enthusiasm and strong subject knowledge to the classroom, ensuring lessons are engaging, appropriately differentiated and accessible to all learners.

The school offers education from Pre-School through to Primary 6, with a strong focus on active, practical and engaging learning.

Core subjects are delivered in English, encouraging students to develop their understanding through exploration, problem-solving and hands-on experiences.

The Ideal Candidate

• Recognised teaching qualification

• Relevant degree or strong academic background in Science

• Experience teaching Science at Primary level

• Experience teaching Upper Primary students would be advantageous

• Confident delivering lessons in English

• Strong subject knowledge in Science

• Ability to plan and deliver practical, engaging and differentiated lessons

• Encourages curiosity, investigation and critical thinking

• Strong classroom-management and communication skills

• Committed to students' academic and personal development

• International teaching experience would be advantageous
