The ideal candidate

  • Advanced academic background — A Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Recognised leadership certification — NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) or equivalent international qualification.
  • Extensive leadership experience — Proven track record in senior leadership roles within British or international schools.
  • Curriculum expertise — In‑depth knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum, with experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Inspection readiness — Familiarity with inspection frameworks such as BSO, COBIS, or CIS, and successful preparation for accreditation.
  • Pastoral and safeguarding knowledge — Strong understanding of pastoral care and safeguarding practices in international contexts.
  • Strategic leadership style — Ability to lead collaboratively, using data‑driven strategies to achieve school improvement.
  • Global perspective — Experience working with diverse communities and international stakeholders.
