Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Earth Science, this role offers the opportunity to bring Science beyond the textbook through practical, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.
Overview
You will teach Science to Secondary/High School students, planning and delivering lessons that encourage students to investigate, experiment, question, and think scientifically.
You'll work with learners of varying abilities and help them develop strong scientific knowledge alongside transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication.
The successful teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons in an English-medium environment and using practical and inquiry-based approaches to make Science relevant and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Earth Science depending on specialism)
- Teach in alignment with the school’s bilingual curriculum and English-medium instruction approach
- Use inquiry-based and practical learning methods to develop scientific understanding and curiosity
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability and EAL learners
- Integrate real-world applications to make Science meaningful and accessible

Ideal candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or Science
- PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience teaching Science at Secondary/High School level
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, or a related specialism
- Experience teaching in an international, bilingual, or English-medium environment is highly desirable
- Confident classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate effectively for mixed-ability and EAL learners
- Passion for practical, inquiry-based, and student-centred learning
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching
