The ideal candidate

  • Recent experience teaching Drama in the UK or internationally, up to IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent)
  • Holds a degree with honours in Drama or a closely related discipline
  • Possesses UK Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching certification
  • Demonstrated success in improving student achievement and outcomes in Drama
  • Dedicated to developing and enhancing the curriculum through innovative approaches
  • Recognized as an exceptional classroom practitioner
  • Highly organized, able to establish an engaging and well‑structured learning environment
  • Brings energy and positivity to interactions with students
  • Reflective in practice, consistently seeking ways to refine and improve teaching performance
  • Applies school guidelines and expectations with consistency and professionalism
  • Shows genuine interest in supporting the personal growth and wellbeing of students
  • Experienced in serving effectively as a form tutor or in a similar pastoral role
  • Willing to actively contribute to extracurricular activities, including drama productions and wider school events
