The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education or a related subject
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent
- Have proven experience teaching Economics at Secondary level
- Ideally have experience teaching students aged 11–18
- Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Economics accessible and engaging
- Experience with a British curriculum is highly desirable
- Experience teaching IGCSE, GCSE and/or A Level Economics is highly desirable
- Have strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom management skills
- Be able to encourage students to think critically and apply economic concepts to real-world situations
- Be confident using a range of teaching strategies to meet different learning needs
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be collaborative, flexible and adaptable
- International teaching experience is highly desirable
